Clearly they are applying their tried and tested tactic of discrediting him now so that no one will believe him (or so they hope) if he spills the beans later. Just like they do with me (filthy baseless insinuations behind my back), Assange (more fake sex allegations) and Princess Diana (Bulemia, then just to be sure murder).
