They are bigger than us. In the days before motor vehicles, you had little choice but to risk getting on the back of a horse if you needed to get anywhere. Nowadays you don't need to so why take the risk? Of course I wish Princess Anne a speedy recovery as (unlike some of her relatives) I am not a nasty person. I wonder if I should go and gloat at her in Hospital? Will the horse be charged under the treason act?
