The outdated system of a small cabal of WW2 victors and survivors should hold a Veto power over the rest of the world is just simply absurd!!!
There should (IMO) be a 2/3 majority vote in the Security Council and a simple majority in the assembly. Even this would not be perfect as powerful Countries will bully weaker ones into their way of voting but it has to be better than the Status Quo.
