You can't have a ceasefire in Lebanon, without a ceasefire and withdrawal of troops from Gaza. Israel must not be allowed to just get on with it's Genocidal campaign in Gaza without repercussions.
We never bombed the crap out of Ireland when the IRA was attacking us or bombed an area of Dublin, we thought had an IRA presence, or dropped 2000 pound bombs on Gerry Adams house. We could have, unlike the UK, Ireland (like Lebanon) has little or no air force, instead we entered into dialogue and came to a diplomatic solution. If Israel is to survive, it must do the same.
The main difference being that the UK does not want to occupy Ireland, while Israel DOES want to occupy and incorporate Gaza into Israel.
