So (presumably) under pressure from incoming US president Trump, the Palestinian authority has been cracking down on armed groups that oppose the Israeli occupation of the West Bank. Now the Palestinian Authority (like Israel did) has barred AlJazeera from reporting on the aforementioned crackdown. This ban, in turn is being condemned by the head of the Committee that protects Journalism, who just happens to have a Jewish name. Am I the only one that finds this to be absolutely astonishing given Israel's interest in this matter?
