I am not a believer that it's co2 that causes global warming, it may have a marginal effect but it just seems glaringly obvious to me that it's heat, from burning fuel, fossil fuel or biologically, that causes warming. Doh! Further more, it don't matter if it's heat from a wind turbine, a human being, nuclear fuel, Israel's bombing campaign or a coal power station, heat is heat and it all goes into the oceans as water is a better conductor of heat than air (with or without co2 in it). Yes the oceans are vast and it takes an awful lot of heat to effect a temperature change but it is happening, can't be denied!
If there is more co2 in the atmosphere, the forests will grow more vigorously, while turning the co2 into oxygen. leave nature alone to do it's own thing.
The really big question is, how to cool the oceans? Answers on a postcard. A heat conductor from the sea into space perhaps?
