The right wing press are saying that the wholesale price of gas has risen by 30% since Gazprom turned off Nordstream on Friday. This is an outright lie as the wholesale price of gas has in fact dropped 6% since friday and is slightly down today. It is our new PM's ill thought policy of handing (in subsidies) £100B to greedy fat cats instead of re-nationalising (by any means) that will cause inflation!
