...it was Old Etonian Tory David Cameron who was the Prime Minister (as officially stated) who gave the section whatever permission to hold an independence referendum, or was it Brown. Yes Cameron legislated, but only because Brown (when PM) granted permission, something the Tories would never do (even with a blackmailed Battenburg).

Looks like Salmond's back stabbing successor was elsewhere!
