Further to what I previously said, in 2016, Trump had his wings severely clipped in the sense that he never won the majority share of the vote and was (presumably) handed a very slim margin of victory. he also never had control of both houses (Senate Rep), was that because the Battenburgs were not defeated as expected? This time however despite all the polls saying it's too close to call, he romps home with his majority share of the vote and control of both houses. The Battenburgs are down but they are not yet out. Oh yes and there is Starmer?
